I'm Olivia, and I grow flowers that are better for people and the environment. 

 

I dug up half my garden to grow my own cut flowers during lockdown in 2020, grew more than I could ever use, and Lark Rose was born. In 2023 I expanded into a local walled garden site which we're renovating from near-derelict to a productive, beautiful half-acre flower farm.

 

As I've found out more about the environmental impact of the global cut flower market, I've become increasingly passionate about growing local flowers and encouraging customers to buy them, including varieties that rarely make it to florists as they're not suitable for mass international transportation.

 

I sell flowers​ to florists, and other businesses including cafes, bars and restaurants. I also sell bunches locally whenever there are enough flowers available! The Scottish flower season is from approximately April until early October, weather dependant.
